Cows and Cathedrals
Just a stones throw away from the impressive Canterbury Cathedral sits a gallery full of unique artwork from top British creatives. And now, some Cows! The Lauren’s Cows herd have taken up residence in Stark Gallery in the beautiful city of Canterbury. You can’t compare an image on a computer screen to an actual painting in the flesh which is why we are so excited to be the featured artist at Stark Gallery this Summer. I met Emma owner and curator of Stark Gallery while exhibiting at The British Craft Trade Fair. We got chatting about my Cows paintings and her gallery and it wasn’t long before we were setting a date for my herd
Emma opened her gallery in 2005 with the vision to display and promote Britain’s artisans. Specialising in only original artworks, Stark Gallery is home to unique one off pieces created my skilled artists of all mediums. With jewellers, ceramicists, painters and woodworkers Stark Gallery offers a great range of pieces for all tastes.
We are passionate about finding a variety skilled artists and craftspeople from across the country and showcasing them all under one roof – Emma

BEASTIE ASSEMBLAGE by Linda Lovatt
Linda creates charming ornaments that fill you with joy. A combination of embossed copper, cotton reels, rusty old keys and broken china no two pieces are the same. I’ve bought a number of Linda’s jolly mice for gifts so it’s a pleasure to be exhibiting along side her!

CLAIRE GILL
Working in the art of photomontage Claire creates nostalgic art prints that epitomise Britain’s coastlines. I’m immediately transported back to my hometown of Scarborough when I look at them!
